Hilly Tuesday morning

I had a chance to sleep in until 5:30 this morning. It was absolutely wonderful. When I realized my dying Garmin had no juice in it, I decided to turn my 11K tempo run into my hill run instead, no need for GPS when you're running up and down a hill. So six boring repeats. However, I felt much better today than last week during the hill session. I still have no idea why people enjoy hill repeats.
When I trotted out to start my run, my legs were a bit stiff. But as I soldiered on they were are showing very little residual impact from Sunday's 30K. I was really pleased by the lack of stiffness, which I'm taking as a sign that my training is slowly, very slowly, turning a corner.
